Visitors to the Bronte Parsonage Museum, in Haworth, yesterday, may have been surprised to see actresses playing the part of Charlotte, Emily and Anne Bronte.

The three sisters are the subject Bronte, a new production at the West Yorkshire Playhouse presented by the Shared Experience Theatre Company.

From the left are Catherine Cusack, who plays Anne, Diane Beck, who takes the role of Emily and Fenella Woolgar, who plays Charlotte, pictured when they visited the museum yesterday. The trip gave them a chance to experience the atmosphere and isolation of the sisters' home.
