A RARE first edition of Emily Bronte's novel Wuthering Heights has been sold for pounds 114,000 - more than twice the estimated price. The edition of the classic Victorian love story, first published in 1847, went under the hammer at Bonhams auction house in central London on Monday. Bonhams spokeswoman Charlotte Wood said: "It was bought by a book dealer on behalf of a private client and it will be staying in the UK."
