The just-concluded Sunday night mini-series Sparkhouse (TV One) was inspired by and had obvious parallels with Emily Bronte's moody novel Wuthering Heights.
It's not a new idea but in this case somewhat audacious - take a well-known 19th century story and turn it around so that it becomes a 21st century tale of passion and betrayal.
And, in this two-part Sunday Theatre offering, it turned out to be quite a good idea.
