A Cirencester woman is set to make at least pounds 15,000 from a four-page letter written to her mother almost a century ago. For the writer was childrens' author Beatrix Potter.
The letter was written in the same year that Potter published one of her famous stories, The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin.
In the letter, she reveals there really was a squirrel called Nutkin which she had kept as a pet- but took back to the shop because it was too savage!
