WATERCOLOUR brushes and paper were put to good use this month when Rolf Harris visited the National Trust's Beatrix Potter properties to take inspiration from Beatrix's famous artwork to create his own watercolours.
Rolf spent the week visiting Beatrix's favourite places and those captured in her sketch books over 100 years ago, to create his own memories of those special places. In his whistle stop tour he visited Tarn Hows, the hamlet of Near Sawrey, the Beatrix Potter Gallery and Wray Castle, the first house Beatrix stayed in when visiting the Lake District as a child.
