Listening to the classical music station on my car radio, I was surprised and delighted to hear the ``Mouse Dance'' portion of a larger composition of which I had not known _ a suite based on the writings of Beatrix Potter. I did not catch the name of the English composer, but if events follow form, one or a few sophisticated readers soon will identify him or her for me.
