The Family Channel's `Peter Rabbit'; Beatrix Potter's Drawings Come to Life on Television

Peter Rabbit, held dearly in the hearts and minds of children for a hundred years, now has a six-part television series to coincide with his centennial celebration. The first episode, "The Tale of Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny," airs on The Family Channel cable service Monday at 8 p.m.

The remainder of the six-part "The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends" series will be spread out until next spring.

The opening installment will repeat at 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 4, and twice on Easter Sunday, April 11, at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. The second episode, "The Tale of Samuel Whiskers," is scheduled to ...
