QUINCY- Beatrix Potter, the children's author and illustrator behind books like "Peter Rabbit" and "Benjamin Bunny," will be the subject of the next Quincy Historical Society Program.
Suzanne Terry, a Children's Librarian at the Boston Atheneum and internationally recognized Beatrix Potter scholar, will present a lecture on the author and her work.
The lecture will be held at 7 p.m. April 24 at the Adams Academy in Quincy Center.
The free program is geared towards adults and children ages 7 and older.
