HOLLYWOOD _ Cate Blanchett is set to play the lead in a biopic about popular children's book author Beatrix Potter, who created the much-loved characters of Peter Rabbit and Jemima Puddle-Duck.
The movie will concentrate on Potter's little-known private life from her early days in London to her settling in Cumbria after she married.
Filming is due to begin in Britain later this year, reports Screen Daily, with Bruce Beresford ("Evelyn," Double Jeopardy") directing.
