Syracuse University Library Associates will hold an event called "Up the Nile in Style: L. Frank Baum's Grand Tour of Egypt."

David Moyer, an Egyptologist and Baum expert, will speak at 4 p.m. today in 1916 Room, E.S. Bird Library.

This slide lecture re-creates a 1906 "Grand Tour" of Egypt by L. Frank Baum, author of "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz," and his wife, Maud.
