David Moyer, a New York City-based expert on Egyptian archaeology and "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" author L. Frank Baum, gives a slide presentation at 4 p.m. Thursday in Bird Library at Syracuse University.

Moyer's talk will cover Baum's tour of Egypt in 1906. The Chittenango-born Baum's Oz legacy began in 1900, with the first of several books.
