Des Plaines is making a return to Oz.
The Des Plaines History Center will open the exhibit "Return to Oz: L. Frank Baum Turns 150" on Monday.
The exhibit will feature historical information about Baum and memorabilia.
Many of the artifacts will be from Wizard of Oz collector Foo Travetto.
She began collection as a young girl, and has built a collection including costumes, toys and games.
She also has created many art pieces related to the movie. Her favorite character is the witch.
