The world premiere of a new documentary about "Wizard of Oz" creator L. Frank Baum, "The Man Behind the Curtain," will be shown in Syracuse next month, as part of a fund-raiser for the Matilda Joslyn Gage Foundation in Fayetteville.
The film, by "Oz" scholar John Fricke, will be screened at 8 p.m. Oct. 1, at The Redhouse, 201 S. West St., Syracuse.
Fricke will be joined by "Dharma & Greg" actress Mimi Kennedy, who will reminisce about her career on screen and stage.
