Back to Oz - L. Frank Baum, royal historian of Oz, comes to life with re-enactor Frederick A. Krebs at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Brown County Historical Society, 611 Utah in Hiawatha. The program is free. Information: (785) 742-3330.

For veterans - The Veteran Partnership will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lighthouse Conference Center in Hiawatha. Veterans, spouses, children and extended families are welcome in this fellowship of military families. Crafts, indoor swimming and child care available for children. Refreshments are provided.
