GOV. RILEY AWARDS GRANT TO HELP ABUSED CHILDREN IN ETOWAH COUNTY

The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs issued the following news release:

Gov. Bob Riley has awarded a $92,591 grant to help child victims of sexual and physical abuse in Etowah County overcome the trauma of the abuse and begin the recovery process.

The grant will help the James M. Barrie Center for Children Inc. in Gadsden continue providing forensic evaluations and counseling to child abuse victims.
