GOV. RILEY GRANT WILL AID CHILD ABUSE VICTIMS IN ETOWAH COUNTY

The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs issued the following news release:

A nonprofit center will continue assisting young victims of sexual or physical abuse in Etowah County thanks in part to a $96,449 grant awarded by Gov. Bob Riley.

The James M. Barrie Center for Children in Gadsden will use the grant to provide services to victims and family members not involved in the abuse.
