The "Peter Pan" that was performed by Ballet West a few years ago is not the same one that will fly into the Capitol Theatre this week. In this version, the viewpoint is specifically Wendy's.
Though both versions are based on James M. Barrie's beloved children's story, the earlier version was choreographed for the Cincinnati Ballet by Peter Anastos, the artistic director at the time, and was more a simple, straight-forward version.
This new version, also initially staged by the Cincinnati Ballet, but this time choreographed by Septime Weber, views the story through Wendy's eyes.
