Marc Forster may not be a household name, but the Swiss-born, NYU Film School-trained director made a reputation with actors and producers after directing Halle Berry to an Oscar in the emotionally raw "Monster's Ball." There's talk of similar honors for Johnny Depp in Forster's "Finding Neverland." The story of playwright James M. Barrie and how his friendship with the sons of a young widow inspired him to write "Peter Pan," the film was Depp's first project after a yearlong paternity leave from filmmaking and co-stars Kate Winslet, Julie Christie and Dustin Hoffman.
