The city of Clearwater issued the following news release:

The Scholar's Choice Lecture and Discussion Series returns with An Old Man's Love by Anthony Trollope, Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2 p.m. at the Clearwater Main Library, 100 N. Osceola Ave. Dr. Nancy Jane Tyson from the Department of English at the University of South Florida will lead the lecture.

The lecture and discussion series continues with Candide by Voltaire, Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2 p.m., with Dr. Maryhelen Harmon; On God: An Uncommon Conversation by Norman Mailer Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2 p.m., with Dr. Phillip Sipiora.
