Town of Raymond -- Despite an anonymous flier announcing the contrary, there is no open meeting Tuesday to protest property assessments, a town official said Friday.

An anonymous letter went out to residents, encouraging them to come to the Town Hall Tuesday night to protest the recent property assessments.

The town assessed property this year for the first time in nine years, and because of a state law, officials had to assess property at 100% instead of 69%.
