The New Berlin Ethics Board could return to the Common Council with a proposal governing the receipt of anonymous donations to city employees that is less stringent than the policy aldermen and the city attorney rejected a month ago.
At a meeting next week, Ethics Board members will consider a policy requiring city employees who receive any kind of anonymous donation to ask the Ethics Board to decide whether they can keep the money, officials said.
