Spam bill could harm anonymous e-mail
WASHINGTON, May 11, 2001 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- Legislation currently before the House Judiciary Committee, designed to stop unwanted e-mail, dubbed spam, might actually roll back or eliminate the use of software for sending anonymous messages, an Internet expert said.
