Feb 19, 2007 (The Age - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Sweden has decided to phase out its nuclear reactors and also stop relying on fossil fuel. Instead it is investing heavily in power generation plants fuelled by woody waste and flammable municipal waste. Such plants already generate a fifth of its energy needs. The nation's greenhouse gas emissions per head of population are about a quarter of Australia's.
