Jan. 25--Hickman High School students proved that participating in the Golden Cow competition is harder than it sounds or doesn't sound.

The lip-sync contest requires excellent timing, creativity and choreography, Hickman senior Andrew Lang, 18, said yesterday during auditions after school.

His group took first place last year and is performing a medley of show tunes to try to keep that title. Much is at stake: Hickman has won the battle for several years in a row, and Kewpie judges said they have no intention of letting Rock Bridge High School ...
