To New York's credit, the Knicks did not pitch a righteous fit after Andrew Lang committed the foul that ended Patrick Ewing's season, and possibly his Hall of Fame career.

After all, that kind of moment could have been the Knicks' chance to climb on a soap box and rail against those critics who portray them as the league's bullies, a crass band of hackers who undercut opponents' legs and beat up old ladies on the way home.
