Andrew Lang has displayed flashes of being the board-crashing, body-thumping force at center that the Milwaukee Bucks envisioned when they acquired him in a July trade with Minnesota.
Not since Bob Lanier and Jack Sikma patrolled the middle in the 1980s have the Bucks had a top-flight center. Lang can't be put in that category yet, but there's little doubt he will be an improvement over Benoit Benjamin and Kevin Duckworth, the centers last season.
