Andrew Lang tied his season-high with 20 points, including eight during a decisive 26-8 first-half run, and the Atlanta Hawks took over first place in the Eastern Conference with a 123-94 rout Saturday of the visiting Philadelphia 76ers.

The victory was the Hawks' fourth in a row and 12th in their last 15 games. It moved them a half-game ahead of the New York Knicks and a game ahead of the Bulls in the race for the best record in the conference.

The team that finishes first will get home-court advantage throughout the conference playoffs.
