The reason I went to see the new ``Little Women'' was to learn what the moviemakers could possibly have added to the beloved 1868 tale of girlhood entering womanhood to earn it a PG (parental guidance) rating.
Would there be a scene with Amy in the bath, her shapely young backside discreetly turned to the camera? Maybe Jo and Professor Bhaer would have some of those Little Men rather too soon after the wedding? Or Marmee, upon hearing Mr. March was hospitalized, would burst forth with an unsaintly expletive?
