WASHINGTON, Feb. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- The Friends of Adam Smith (FOAS) today announced the winners of the 2004 Adam Smith Awards: U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Texas) will receive the Federal Elected Official medal and William F. Aldinger III, Chairman and CEO of Household International, Inc., will receive the Business Citizen medal. Both will accept their awards at the fifth annual Adam Smith Awards Dinner, April 27, 2004 at 6:00 p.m. at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C.
