THE world's most powerful banker paid tribute to one of Scotland's most famous sons yesterday.
Alan Greenspan, chairman of the U.S. Federal Reserve - the equivalent of the Bank of England - visited Kirkcaldy in Fife to honour Adam Smith.
At St Bryce's Church, he used his Adam Smith Memorial Lecture to honour the author of The Wealth of Nations.
