(1920)

While Huxley is best-known for his novel Brave New World (1932), he also composed much poetry. Leda is his fourth poetry collection. 'Leda' is in reference to the beautiful Greek Mythological Queen Leda. Zeus disguised himself as a swan and seduced Leda and she bore him two children, Helen of Troy and Polydeuces.
