Speaking of travelling, my son and I will be on the road for many hours tomorrow morning, heading out to New Mexico. Imagine; two guys in a truck covering over a thousand miles, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

yeah, I think the whole east coast was delayed.
In theory that sounds great, however road trips always sound like fun when you're not in the middle of it.
I'm on my way home. I'm back at the airport ya know what bugs me? This guy and I were standing at the counter and there were three customer service reps and none of them would acknowledge our presence. Couldn't at least one of them look up and say "Someone will be with you in a minute"??

Do share the secret, papya, there's a love - an hour and a half down the motorway and I dare not pass the service area or I start imagining all sorts of hold-ups ahead before the next place to stop. The car goes on automatic pilot and signals left and starts pulling over, even if I hadn't thought of a 'comfort stop', yet when I'm on the coach I can go all the way to Heathrow before thinking of making a trip to that impossibly small room at the back of the coach.

I love stopping at service stations especially if I am travelling alone; have a cup of tea and read... Observe people coming and going. Such a treat.
