It was a toss up for me Mambo Kings or The Red and the Black, but I went with the colors, man, the colors.

I'd heard that it's the 50th anniversary of the publishing of To Kill a Mockingbird, so it seemed like a good time to read it. But...
The last time I checked this thread, there was a four-way tie, with my nominee in the running. To think I got excited that I might go 2/2 in Book Club nominations.

Picked up my copy of Mambo Kings from the library today.

I'm 4th in the HOLD line for Mambo Kings at the library. Hopefully I'll see it before September is over.
I did get the one copy they had left of The Red and the Black, so I'm going to read that anyway until Mambo Kings comes in, but then the fat lady hasn't sung yet!
