I live somewhere different already and I keep asking myself what made me move to this crazy country

I have a pet on facebook. He's a purple cuddly creature kind of beasty and he is very lazy.

people who are disciplined, logical, rational, fair, reserved but understanding, tolerant and compassionate at the same time.

maths, because I don't get it myself, so I could see it from the students' perspective

a few close friends, the chance to learn new things

I've just completed my training as a teacher of German and Spanish, but will work as a teaching assistant from September on (i.e. working with pupils with special educational needs). Yes, I'm largely happy with my chosen profession, but am looking forward to teaching my own classes without being observed all the time.
