I don't know why, but I can't see you as a Harry Potter fan, so number 5

Yeah, I am nothing but a pleb... Read the first Potter books and enjoyed them for what they are as well.

OK, at risk of looking like a big-head, here we go.

I have 32 different translations of the bible.

    I am a past stock-car champion

    I've been married three times.

I have passed 25 driving tests

I once had a moustache that you could see from behind.

Curse you, Moriarty, you have found me out!

All right, confession time, too much wine, I got my wires crossed and posted 4 truths and a lie, not the other way around. I'd suggest ignoring all the afore-going, although plaudits to The Comedian!!

It was The Comedian's turn, anyway, to post a puzzle as he correctly guessed my "truth".

Okay spot the truth -- there are four statements below -- three are lies; one is true.

    Theme: At the office

    1. At work I sometimes wear headphones, but don't play any music or anything through them, just to keep people bothering me with their requests for "help".

    2. I have a mini-model of the Millenium Falcon, clearly displayed, on my desk.

    3. I keep a very messy office: papers scattered about, pens & pencils here and there. . .

    4. I have a framed picture of Hilary Clinton just above my file drawers.

    Now I have to go with #4, don't I?

Oops - I do believe I have been admonished! Hangs head, scuffs toe of right shoe behind left heel on floor, squirms.

    A simple misunderstanding!

#2 be because that's the one I'd pick.

I'll go with three, because in #2 is true, it follows that it could hardly be "clearly displayed" on a messy desk...
    Some of us laugh
    Some of us cry
    Some of us smoke
    Some of us lie
But it's all just the way
that we cope with our lives...
