Any thread that contains Alf Garnett, harbinger of all that is desirable in the British Male, gets my vote for a coconut! Style, eloquence, marital devotion, political nous, sporting prowess, what more could some bit of skirt need?

Because, strange as it may seem, some women are attracted to bald men.
I don't get it either but there's no accounting for women.

You Sir, need to watch your language. What do you mean by ..."some bit of skirt?" If you wish to describe those British females who are attracted to the bald headed ones, the correct usage is to refer to them as .... 'a loose bit of tackle.'

I want to see them when they first roll out of bed in the morning before I make a judgement.

Oh, he will, he will... As soon as the restraining order expires.
Why? Everyone knows that bingo night at the VFW Hall is where the action is.

Oh, yeah... The VFW Hall is where she hangs out:

(I think this photo was taken as she was entering the hall. You can tell she was looking forward to a night of wild bingo).

I didn't know that the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) held bingo nights, although she does look as if she's seen a lot of action.

Brian, maybe they are speaking about Vereinigte Flugtechnische Werke?

As for ontopic, I would lose all my nerd cred if I didn't have a crush for Richard Feynman.
If you believe even a half of this post, you are severely mistaken.

Actually, if you don't recognize Richard Feynman it's probably because you're too young, he was around ages ago. Same with Johnny Rotten.

I'm sure Richard Feynman will appreciate the comparison.

Thank you, Juniper. I recognize the make of the suits, the hair style and the thin lapels from the years of test tube tvs...I think; that little Mcavoy fellow is sort of cute when he's cleaned up...

Oh gosh, I just looked feynman up, he was a psych doctor from NZ...they wouldn't have even had him on the oprah show unless he could cook.
