I hope this thread inspired somebody to do something for their health. Even if it's only one person I am happy!

    Thanks everyone for your posts!

I try and do 20 to 30 minutes on my exercise bike on medium difficulty every day or every other day... I have to force myself to do even that because it's winter now and I don't feel like blinking my eyelids, let alone exercising

Well... I spent more than four hours in a car driving to and fro a sister company, seven hours in a conference room and another hour at lunch...
Then, when I got back to work again I changed to biking wear, collected my bike and made quite a detour on my way home (about 45 minutes) to shake loose a bit. Pure bliss.

Absolutely zilch! As usual. I know it's shameful but I detest exercise.

    Great, Claes!!!

That's what everyone needs - to force yourself to do some sport even if you are dead tired.

Thank's, but on the other hand that is what I always do all year round. Ok, I usually go straight home without the detour, but still... It's just my everyday exercise.

    Excellent Claes!

I wish I could exercise every day, today for instance I had a lazy day - no sports - I met my old friends and spent almost all day talking to them.

Fifteen years military service, running around like an idiot, sweating every year for aircrew medicals, watching my diet, out jogging every day, eschewing alcohol, all that. Now, I do very little, partly because of time constraints. Do I feel any worse off? No, but I don't worry about greenstick fractures, I can stick my tongue out at the food fascists who seem to want to tell me exactly how to live my life, and I enjoy myself a lot more without getting sweaty. Pass the chocolate. (I did give up smoking, though!)

Are you saying that you served in military? Hmmm.... I am still... Still have to do push ups, sit ups and running which I hate the most.... But I don't complain, though.
And I gave up smoking last April!

I went for a walk-about a mile. I would like to walk several miles a day.
