My mom always used to say the same things. I never believed her until I actually tried. I still don't believe her sometimes now, thus I have to rediscover that simple truth once a day or else I'm doomed to impenetrate myself into indolence.
Another: We can't help but not listen to our parents. We are too willing to find out if they are right or not.
