Which Daal Madhuri? I like Haleem the most! Channay ki Daal, Mash ki Daal and Moong ki daal are also good though!
I sang of leaves, of leaves of gold, and leaves of gold there grew.

It was Chaney ki daal (chickpea), with the pyaz and tamatar (onion and tomato) tadka in it

I am not so fond of Arhar daal, I can eat any other type.

What's Haleem and Mash? Maybe in India, they are known by a different name.

Having tea... Nice and simple but if you asked what I wanted to have...

Nachos, chocolate, watermelon, roast-beef sub, enchiladas, coke, roasted chestnuts, corn-on-cob, grapes, couscous salad...

(Not necessarily in that particular order)

I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book! When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

Hot weather has its uses as well; one has got to be the arrival of mangoes!

I am having mango milk-shake at the moment as breakfast.
