I, on the other hand have heard of the vast majority of the bands on your lists, I even like one or two.I highly recommend Cowboy Junkies, they are very melancholy and tragic and Margo Timmins has an amazing voice...and they do great covers, along with other stuff of course but their covers are above all others. And Beta Band is great for anyone who likes something slightly out of the norm, they are very creative and unique. And I'll leave the recommendations there for now.
