I'm glad you had a nice Christmas, Delta. It is hard for me to imagine a heat wave right now, even though I lived through one just a few months ago, lol. And we had a rash of West Nile Virus cases, enough that it made the news nationally. It was kind of scary, so I kept the doors and windows closed during the evening when the mosquitoes come out. So boring.

I had a good Christmas-it was also small and quiet. I'm drinking wine and watching movies tonight. And for the new year I want to keep learning Chinese (fingers crossed), continue with my Chinese calligraphy, my watercolor classes, and I would also like to write more regularly.

I hope you finish your second (!) play, Delta. I have thought in the past of writing a screenplay, but a) I don't think I have the stamina to write something that long, and b) I don't feel at all that I can write convincing dialogue.

I also want to walk more and do yoga and, in general, be perfect....ah, aspirations!

Hi ladies. I just dropped in to say, Happy New Year!

I went to a rockin’ party last night. I wore my favorite striped shirt.

New Year’s resolution: learn how to talk to girls.
    Uhhhh...

Haha. It could've been, a few years ago. El Sancho has a few more years on him than stripy-shirt guy.

Heh heh - I didn't think so. But for the sake of the nation's safety, all young men should learn how to talk to girls...

Oh, if I only knew then what I knew now., .'course I looked more like him than that rockin' girl in the short dress...sigh ()(actually that's true, though )

At least you start out the new year rested, Caddy! Now I'm going back to bed, perchance to sleep; at the very least I get to be very lazy.

Do they really still play Cricket? So two centuries ago! I kid, Delta. I would love to watch a game of Cricket. I would even love to play a game. The only thing I know about it is a scene from the movie Hope and Glory which was hysterical and made it look like so much fun.

If we have to choose one of those, I vote for the last one... Though I have to admit that I cannot see them all that clearly on my phone.
