Books accepted by library (hooray!) and prescription collected but Village Hall office was closed and it was raining too much to dash across the road just for stamps (so much for the sunshine...), so still some little tasks left for today, as well as the hoovering and dusting in readiness for tomorrow's visitors.

    House viewing?

Yesterday, I had a wonderful day but did so much walking that I feel my feet are still suffering today. However, show much go on:

    - Go to the bank

    - Post the cheque

    - Review for the observation

    - Do two loads of laundry

    - Get the supermarket shopping done

    - CD player

    - Get petrol

Tomorrow I will sleep all day, get up at around three o'clock and then stay up all night watching Doctor Who. I get to prepare for my blissful, peaceful nightshift week.

I kept looking, forcing myself not to blink, and then the brightness began to dissolve. My pupils shrunk to pinholes and everything came into focus and for a moment I understood. The doctors didn't know if my eyes would ever heal."

he must have meant that... because earlier he told me he needed some psychic help. I offered my services, but the ouija board must be a better option

Sadly no - it was to have been a family visit but it's been postponed until sometime next week, all being well. Here I am, sitting in a clean, tidy house.... Still no one in the office of the village hall, so it looks as if the table sale for Saturday is off.

Everything done more or less (only one load of laundry).

    Tomorrow:

    - Get up early

    - Remember to take deep breaths

    - Survive.

I'm trying to give up the digestives.....

However - here I am with an unexpected free day on my hands so - what to do?

I could clean out the kitchen cupboard.

    I could do some baking.

I could sit and gobble up the rest of my book. (That thread on unread books has pricked my conscience...).

I could go round all my friends and distribute the apple crop so they could all have apple pie for Sunday lunch.

Hmmm - the sun is shining so the last one is definitely winning at the moment!

    Take a moment to relax.

Outline a new story, or maybe just rework an old if I find my file.

    Make decisions on Christmas shopping.
