A Romance of the Tropical Forest.

(1904)

William Henry Hudson, in Victorian London, mourned for the innocent, natural world he knew in South America; and, saw being destroyed all around him, during the Industrial Revolution. "Green Mansions" tells the romance of a young man; on the run from a failed political plot, he flees into the wilderness, where he finds love; and, becomes so wild himself, that only basic instincts, and passions remain.

Riolama&Rima as inspiration character from Hudson's "Green Mansions"

Riolama&Rima is the main character from Hudson's "Green Mansions" Needless to say this is one of my dearest book.I have found it by accident looking for unknown titles and Authors in my local Library as i usually did.I have a gift to choose every time only best books;think really good written ones,no matters if they at the time bestsellers.especially enjoy searching for old Books. I fell in Love with Green Mansions and W.H.Hudson and the personification of that love is Riolama/Rima.A beautiful girl who enjoys the Nature of which big Lover was Hudson himself.Since i posted review of this book here,i won't repeat myself in reviewing again. I am interested in How many of you did read "Green Mansions" and what are your Impressions?
