    For anglophile

    Ang oh Ang,
You truely are the floral man.
    Women would be dancing,
    if only you were aspen.
    Your love of loves,
    holds your hand in foxgloves,
    or in marigolds
    as passion unfolds.
    They would only but dream,
at a glance of your hornbeam.
    They would never cower,
    if they saw your bellflower.
She would be Hazel or Lily of the valley,
her Motherwort would drive you doo lally.
She would be a Virginian cowslip
    laughing at your periwinkle drip.
in time she may become a dragon plant
A toad flax or an ele-phant.
But fear not, Ang, my floral friend,
she may be forget-me-nots until the end.

    For those who believe,
    no explanation is necessary.
    For those who do not,
    none will suffice.

LOL you really had it all summed up!!

"But do you really, seriously, Major Scobie," Dr. Sykes asked, "believe in hell?"
    "Oh, yes, I do."
    "In flames and torment?"
"Perhaps not quite that. They tell us it may be a permanent sense of loss."
"That sort of hell wouldn't worry me," Fellowes said.
"Perhaps you've never lost anything of importance," Scobie said.

Thanks, Jerry, for this floral, romantic, and sweet poem!

If only I knew as many flowers as you do!

Alas! When it comes to floral names and knowledge, I'm second to you!
