I am convinced that there is some ingredient in all junk food that absolutely requires the consumption of high-calorie carbonated liquid in order to properly wash the food down.
Really, does junk food have to be this bad? I've been watching what I eat lately...not really on a diet, mind you, but just trying to eat better and healthier. Every once in awhile I treat myself to a little piece of coffee cake, or a small bag of chips...and it just seems that the only way to wash that stuff down when you're done indulging is to drink a good Coca-Cola. I'm trying to avoid soda and drink more fruit juice and water, but whenever I decide to cut myeslf some slack and have a little "reward snack" for doing wo well I'm forced into a double-whammy because I have this irrestistible urge to grab a Coke.
I guess I just have to work on my junk food selections. Surely, ice cream and peppermint candies don't go well with Coke, nope nope...
