The Marvelous Land of Oz

In this book, we have a real doozy of a plot here. There is an army of feminists, the creepiest Witch in all existence, plot twists coming a mile away, and the utter and complete absence of Dorothy, who is replaced with a suspiciously similar substitute. And all of this would be fine if it was intended to be a parody, except it isn't.--Submitted by Anonymous

Continuity in Oz

I've found a continuity error in The Marvelous Land of Oz. In The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Baum clearly states that no one in Oz had ever seen a dog before. In the sequel he must have forgotten this and placed a small dog running around Emerald City. Also, did Tin Woodman forget about the reason he wanted a heart? Instead of going to find his lost love he runs off to become Emperor of the Winkies.
