The Wanderings Of Oisin
Introduction:
Yeats' first important poem was The Wanderings of Oisin, which was
originally placed with other narrative and dramatic works in a special section
at the back of the Collected Poems (where it can still be found in certain
editions). But when he revised the book, almost on his deathbed, Yeats
restored Oisin to its true chronological position at the front of the volume,
