(Daily Princetonian) (U-WIRE) PRINCETON, N.J. -- If the ghosts of James Joyce and William Butler Yeats ever wander through Princeton University's gothic archways and turreted halls, they will finally have a home away from Ireland.

Pat Durkin '60 recently gave the University more than $200,000 to launch the Fund for Irish Studies -- a name particularly appropriate since the abbreviation, FIS, means "vision" in Gaelic.
