The Chicago Book Festival/City of Big Readers is Chicago's annual citywide literary festival. The October festival features readings by authors, activities for children and book discussions. The festival includes the citywide reading program "One Book, One Chicago."

The Chicago Public Library offers a week of free programs and special events, Monday-Oct. 20, to celebrate the "One Book, One Chicago" selection of My Antonia by Willa Cather.

Here are a few activities:
