Cuando se habla de Wilkie Collins (Londres, 1824-1889), siempre se citan los elogios que T. S. Eliot y Borges le dedicaron. Redundantes y sospechosas citas. Llega uno a sospechar que Collins despierta la típica admiración lejana y falsa de lo poco y mal conocido.

La reedición española casi masiva y plural de Wilkie Collins debería dar pie a un mejor conocimiento. Merece la pena.
